I have been working as a freelance filmmaker, video editor and videographer since 2012. I learned my craft by doing it and I am grateful for the opportunities life presented me with once I had stated my intent to turn my hobby as an independent filmmaker into a profession.
My main daily working areas are small business video advertisement and event documentation for individuals, companies, organisations, NGOs and charities. Please browse examples under COMMERCIAL.
Under NARRATIVE you find samples of my second speciality: Documentary filmmaking. I enjoy creating powerful synergies between story, visual rhythm and music. My passion is to take the viewer on a journey from moment to moment, flowing at ease even through word- and content-laden documentaries with complex topics and leave them informed, inspired and activated with a sense of hope and beauty.
In the last 7 years I directed and edited 3 feature-length documentaries in collaboration with Moviola Productions as well as the Findhorn Foundation.
My alternative occupation as a psychotherapist and group facilitator gives me skills and empathy to blend in with my camera into even very intimate and confidential settings. It also enables me to coach towards authentic self-expression and confidence in front of the lens. With a friendly, reassuring and personable nature, I can work well with a diverse range of people, either individually or as part of a team.
