Pricing
Every video project has its own requirements and costs and complexity vary greatly. However, a time-tested rule of thumb is an average of £200 for every finalised minute of delivered video. It can be easily more or less than this depending on additional services (extra equipment or manpower). To date I have always found a mutually agreeable solution with my clients.
Equipment and Manpower
On top of my skills and services there might be addtional crafts needed to achieve your vision. In cases like this I love to collaborate with the vast local network of gifted people who can contribute their services towards multi-angle filming, refined sound engeneering, extra lighting, drone aerials, animation, stock footage, sounds and music, still photography, subtitles etc.
Interviews
One skill I refined in my documentary filmmaking is the technique of conducting interviews, to receive authentic and alive answers to sometimes very intimate questions. I make every effort to ensure that interviewees feel comfortable and relaxed and can project the best of their personalities and projects while they are being filmed.
Concept
I enjoy witnessing your passion for your product/art/music and will do my best to support you in embodying and expressing your enthusiasm in front of the camera if so wished. Together we create a strategy and storyline for your video. I happily advise in matters of framing, storyline, lighting, location, product appearance, narration etc.
Production
I mainly use a CANON 70D with high-end lenses. I am not a tech geek with the latest gear on the market. I use what works and achieves the results needed. I collaborate with other local filmmakers and artists to provide extended services like still photography, multi-angle filming, drone aerials, music & amp; refined sound production, subtitles etc.
Editing and Post-production
With over 10 years of experience as a video editor, I can edit any length of video in a wide variety of styles. I love to beautify videos with refined color grading and a balanced sound. In my work as a director/editor of several feature-length documentaries I discovered my talent for strategic file management and back-up systems and an accurate eye to extract the essence out of a gigabyte mountain of valuable footage. I use FINAL CUT PRO X on used Apple computers.
